Emails
What Octagon OS sends: quotes and their follow-ups, invoices, reminders, receipts, sign-in codes and the welcome. Each one carries the company's colour and the same numbers as its PDF. Email-safe HTML — tables, inline styles, 600px — filled from the real books and the company details in Settings.

Email rules
- The subject carries the point: what, how much, by when. The preview line adds the one detail that makes people open it.
- One button, for the one thing to do, in the company colour. A plain link below it for the second thing.
- The PDF is named and sized in the email, so people know it is there before they scroll.
- Signed by a person — the owner on quotes, the office on invoices — with a phone number.
- Numbers in full, with VAT spelled out and the total in bold.
- Reminders are kind first, firm after 60 days — and say what to do if it’s already paid.
- Built to survive email clients: tables, inline styles, system fonts, a 600px column that becomes full width on a phone. In production the logo is a hosted PNG.
